BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Huzhou, a prefecture-level city in east China's Zhejiang Province, on Saturday signed an agreement with Alibaba and Ant Financial to jointly offer new services for digital life in the city, reported China Securities Journal.
"Yunxiang Huzhou", a new service platform for digital life in Huzhou, was officially launched Saturday on Alipay, China's leading digital payment platform.
With this new service platform, Huzhou City and Alipay hope to co-shape China's first "digital life city".
By searching "Huzhou" or clicking "Citizen Center"on the homepage of Alipay, citizens of the city can access the platform to enjoy various handy services covering business, tourism, education, health, transport, among other fields.
It's learned that with the help of Alibaba and Ant Financial, Huzhou will strive to realize digital life in full swing within three years by comprehensively upgrading local life services, digital citizen services and digital financial services.
Alipay will help the city to further streamline government services, gradually realize digital transformation and upgrading of commercial outlets, and complete digital upgrading of all 3A scenic spots, hospitals and pharmacies, core business districts and vegetable markets within three years.
