BEIJING, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Fuzhou Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) saw a total of 32 projects involving 59.2 billion yuan signed on Friday.
These projects involve fields such as cross-border e-commerce, marine fisheries, Internet of Things (IoT), biomedicine, bulk trade, advanced manufacturing, and financial services.
Since the beginning of this year, in response to the impact of the epidemic, the Fuzhou Area has launched the online investment promotion model.
Since the establishment of the Fuzhou FTZ five years ago, it has played a leading role in improving the business environment in Fujian Province to maximize the vitality of market players.
According to statistics, in the past five years, Fuzhou FTZ has added 36,000 new businesses with a registered capital of 780.7 billion yuan, and witnessed the establishment of a number of key platforms such as vehicle imports, IoT, cross-border e-commerce, and seafood trade.
