Juneyao Airlines to resume over 4,600 suspended flights in March

Abstract : Juneyao Airlines, one of China's leading private-owned carriers, is going to gradually resume 4,600 flights suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak within this month.

BEIJING, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Juneyao Airlines, one of China's leading private-owned carriers, is going to gradually resume 4,600 flights suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak within this month, according to a report by The Beijing News Sunday.

Facing the increasing demand for resumption of work and production, Juneyao Airlines has already resumed flight operations since February 21 and has further increased the number of flight since March.

At the same time, Juneyao Airlines will carefully evaluate the operational risks of the 4,600 flights resumed in March, especially the flights to the neighboring countries, and suspend some flights when it is necessary to reduce the risks of imported source of infection due to population movement.

In addition, Juneyao Airlines has the charter services for governments and corporate groups. Since February 26, Juneyao Airlines has successively carried out nine charter flights, transporting over 1,300 passengers returning to work. (Edited by Gao Jingyan, gaojingyan@xinhua.org)
