MILAN, Feb. 28 (Class Editori) -- In seven days, the video coverage of 54 fashion shows and 70 videos were viewed by more than 400 million users on the main Chinese web platforms. These are the extraordinary numbers of the "China we are with you" initiative, launched by CNMI-National Chamber of Italian Fashion on the occasion of Milan women's fashion just ended.
With the collaboration of Class Editori, an unprecedented total video coverage was created to inform the public and Chinese professionals who could not come to Milan due to the coronavirus emergency.
The shows, the backstage, the interviews with the stylists and the news of the fashion week were broadcast directly on the most important Chinese information internet channels. The Class Editori cameras, its television channels and its fashion editors followed day by day, moment by moment, all the fashion shows, creating summaries, reports, interviews that allowed Chinese buyers not to miss an essential appointment for their work.
The president of CNMI-National Chamber of Italian Fashion Carlo Capasa personally thanked the Class Editori's commitment. He strongly wanted, encouraged and promoted this initiative. "In a time when walls are raised, we want to build bridges," said Capasa. At least 80 percent of the usual presences from China, about a thousand people, were forced not to attend the event.
The "China, we are with you" campaign launched on February 18 by CNMI-National Chamber of Italian Fashion on the occasion of the start of Milan women's fashion, was developed to express solidarity towards the Chinese people, committed to fighting coronavirus epidemic.
In addition, to express a message of sympathy, trust and strength to the Chinese population, CNMI opened the Milan women's fashion with the fashion show of the Chinese stylist Han Wen, a London-based designer. The campaign, created with the aim of allowing the Chinese fashion world, which could not attend in person in Milan due to the emergency and travel restrictions, was a success and confirmation of the key role of the relationships between Italy and China.
