LUSAKA, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- It is important for Zambia to attend the upcoming second China International Import Expo (CIIE) as it does not only enhance business relations but also strengthen bilateral cooperation, an investment advisor said on Thursday.
Muchemwa Sinkala, who is an expert on Chinese investment, said opportunities such as expositions not only enhance cooperation but also bring the two people together which is vital in developing the relationship.
According to him, it was important for Zambia to attend the expo because it would allow firms to be exposed to a larger global audience where they will be able to market their products and services.
In addition, he said platforms like the second CIIE will help Zambian firms showcase their products and services and clinch business deals.
The two countries, he said, have been friends for a long time, adding that the attendance to the exposition was just meant to cement the ties.
