MILAN, Jul 4 (Class Editori) – The Chinese Yindu joins in Padua-based Piron’s capital. The company, specialized in the design and production of professional, remote-controlled ovens, formalized the partnership as the Chinese multinational – listed on the Shanghai stock market and active in the professional products and equipment for the food industry – acquired a 24% share.
Since long, the Italian company has been investing in developing Internet-of-Things technologies. The creation of "Cucina 4.0" (kitchen 4.0) equipment has been front and center in Piron's R&D line, first creator of innovative and strategic productions such as the standardized communication protocols. These are not only used not only by the company for its own products, but also by the professional operators – thus enabled to control the most important stages of their activities from remote by interacting with cooking equipment, where each component is linked to the other.
As explained in a note, the partnership with the Chinese multinational will contribute to strengthen Piron’s vocation to continuous development and innovation. "This operation comes as a reward to the company's persistence and trust when it comes to R&D, which has always been focused on developing equipment interconnectivity. Piron came up with the 'Cucina 4.0' way before we started talking about Industria 4.0," said Italo Tommasin and Francesco Celentano, co-owners of Piron. "This allows us to multiply our export capacity, contributing to support the company’s growth as well as to further invest in that very same research which made Piron's ovens the top choice in their sector".
The Yindu group has a strong base in both China and the US, thus supporting Piron and Explora brands' commercial expansion in those markets.
Yindu's financial and strategic contribution will help the Italian company in updating their current production plant, allowing them to produce the equipment in Italy before selling it everywhere in the world.
