BEIJING, May 14 (Xinhua) -- China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (CNNP, 601985.SH) announced that its subsidiaries Liaoning Nuclear Power and CNNP Suneng Nuclear Power, together with China Nuclear Energy Industry Corporation (CNEIC), mull to sign a contract worth of 1.702 billion U.S. dollars with Joint Stock Company Atomstroyexport (ASE) of Russia for jointly constructing the unit 3 and unit 4 of the Xudabao nuclear power plant in northeast China's Liaoning province, according to CNNP's filing on Tuesday to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
It's noted that VVER-1200/V491 reactors designed by Russia will be built at the two power units of the Xudabao nuclear power plant. (Edited by Su Dan)
