TIANJIN, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Global employment-oriented social networking platform LinkedIn has announced that it had partnered with iQiYi, one of China's leading online entertainment companies, to offer Chinese users access to video content related to career development.
Boasting a network of 630 million members, LinkedIn owns LinkedIn Learning, a globally active workplace learning platform that offers more than 13,000 courses on business, technology and creative development, said Lu Jian, LinkedIn China president.
Meanwhile, the platform has a global editorial team of more than 50 people, who select and produce hot topic content for professionals, and has launched 365 original videos in which celebrities shared their work experience.
Lu said the company hopes to work with iQiYi to localize its services for Chinese users, help them maintain the motivation of lifelong learning, and improve their core competitiveness.
The partnership will meet users' diversified knowledge acquisition needs, said Liu Wenfeng, CTO of iQiYi.
