MILAN, Apr 8 (Class Editori) – SACE-SIMEST, the Cdp Group's export and internationalization hub, has launched the new Facilitated Financing Platform www.sacesimest.it, a digital tool to support companies, especially SMEs, that want to grow in the world.
Thanks to sacesimest.it, the access to low-interest loans (0.087% per annum in April) that SIMEST manages on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Development is now even easier, faster and completely online.
Through a reserved area, companies will be able to follow a guided path and be constantly updated, thanks to an alert system, on the progress of their loan application status.
Compared to the past, the simplification of the set of forms and the automatic compilation significantly reduce the documentation and information to insert. Moreover, a videotutorial, a chat and a toll-free number are active to guarantee assistance, step by step, in obtaining the financing. All these innovations will enable companies to reduce the time needed to get the resources.
The types of financing available in the platform are 5. First of all, the products dedicated exclusively to SMEs, such as financing to cover the costs of participation in fairs, exhibitions and system missions aimed at making their products known in non-EU countries and the medium-long term financing to strengthen the capacity of company's export. Furthermore, all the companies will be able to obtain financing to carry out feasibility studies, to open the first commercial structures (an office, a showroom, a shop or a corner) and to train personnel in non-EU countries.
In addition to the SIMEST subsidized loans, the platform offers to companies the entire range of digital products of the group to grow on international markets, managing the associated risks:
• Company evaluation: a digital service designed for companies that want to know potential Italian or foreign customers through an assessment of their reliability and the maximum credit that can be granted.
• Export Up: an innovative solution that allows companies to insure their credits, knowing in advance the policy cost and blocking the price for three months.
• Factoring: to manage the risks associated with the collection, obtaining immediate liquidity through the disinvestment of claims against Italian or foreign public and private companies.
• Debt recovery: complete assistance throughout all the phases of extrajudicial and judicial activity for debt recovery of any entity and duration. On the platform, companies can get a free estimate for the service, which will be paid only if the claim is actually recovered.
In particular, the SACE-SIMEST hub has confirmed itself as a strategic partner for SMEs in Southern Italy in 2018, the year in which it mobilized 820 million euros of resources from Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily, supporting the export and internationalization of over 3800 companies. In Puglia, especially, thanks to the catalytic role of the office in Bari, it has supported more than 600 businesses in the territory by mobilizing around 250 million euros of resources, a figure that is second only to the Campania region.
Overall, the Cdp Group's export and internationalization hub closed 2018 mobilizing 28.6 billion euros of resources to support Italian businesses, up 13% compared to 2017, the highest figure high achieved in export support.
The 2018 result, in addition to the performance of the last few years, brings the total value of the resources mobilized by the export hub to support Italian companies over the last three years to 72 billion euros, 11 percentage points above the target set by the Business Plan approved in 2016 and up 60% from 2016.
The resources mobilized to support the Mid Cap and SMEs amounted to 20 billion, an increase of 20%, from 2016.
