BEIJING March 29 (Xinhua) -- China National Narcotic Control Committee has issued a circular to tighten control over industrial hemp approval, reported the Xinhua-run China Securities Journal.
According to the circular, industrial use of hemp is only limited to fiber processing and seed cultivation, except above two other uses are forbidden.
Besides, the circular stressed that China has put a ban on industrial hemp for medical use and food additives, all localities must strictly abide by the regulations.
