The industry is the No. 1 leading industry in the Chuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. It boasts 69 enterprises of certain scales and 29 state-level high- and new-technology enterprises. Their combined annual output value in 2016 was 30.58 billion yuan.
The most famous among them are the world home electrical appliances leader Bosch-Siemens, domestic home electrical appliances leader Konka, famous international brand Domlin Kitchen Group, China’s No. 2 and the World’s No. 3 semi-conductor packager Changjiang Electronics Technology, and the listed company Luxshare Precision.
The industry is China’s only concentrated home electrical appliances and equipment manufacturing base, a state-level home electrical appliances design and manufacturing specialty industry base and a state new type of industrialization demonstrative base for home electrical appliances. It is also the first smart home electrical appliances industry cluster in Anhui Province. It is the base of Anhui Province for exporting home electrical appliances and a demonstrative area in Anhui for quality home electrical appliances production.
