Changing the mode of energy consumption is the most effective way to deal with heavy air pollution in China.
Liu Hanyuan, Chairman of Tongwei Group, made the above remarks on March 7 when delivering a keynote speech at a panel discussion of the 5th Session of the 12th CPPCC National Committee.
Liu said that photovoltaic (PV) industry, serving as a representative of renewable energy, is the main way to boost electric energy cleaning.
However, heavy tax burden, together with the delay of subsidy granting, delivered a heavy blow to the development of PV companies, Liu said.
He noted that China should reduce tax burden and provide sustainable development space for the PV industry in a bid to promote the health development of clean-energy and improve the country’s air quality.
