BEIJING, March 1 (Xinhua) --- Shanghai will build an artificial intelligence (AI) application demonstration zone in Minhang district, covering an area of about 10 square kilometers, Shanghai Securities News quoted Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong as saying on Thursday.
Shanghai should focus on building AI industry clusters and accelerate industry development and deep application of AI technology, pointed out Ying.
The move will promote regional transformation and upgrading, and to some extent make contributions to Shanghai's high quality development, stressed Ying.
