Italian Exhibition Group intensifies relations for a strategic chain of Made in Italy after the initiatives related to the green economy and tourism business. A Cantonese delegation of institutions and goldsmith sector visiting the city in Emilia Romagna region.
Guanzhou studies the Rimini system. A delegation from the state capital of the Guangdong Province visited the exhibition centre of Rimini. Together with the deputy mayor of Guangzhou, also known as Canton, Chen Zhiying and the counterpart of Panyu, Huang Ka, there was a delegation of the goldsmith sector of the metropolis, welcomed by the president of the Italian Exhibition Group, Lorenzo Cagnoni and the managing director, Ugo Ravanelli. The IEG therefore intensifies the institutional and business relations with the People's Republic and in particular with the Guangdong Province, which is recognized as the engine of growth and innovation of the second economy in the world.
A densely populated region, with two other megalopolis such as Shenzhen and Dongguan, while Guangzhou is growing rapidly. Together with Hong Kong, it is a strategic area that boasts advanced communication systems, including very high-speed surface transport, and it is part of the Great Bay Area.
The meeting served to study the development of the trade fair business in China for the jewelery sector. In that moment, the Chinese authorities and operators promised to go to Vicenza during the VicenzaOro, visiting also the district and the city of Rimini.
In September 2018, an agreement with Chengdu ZhongLian Exhibition Co. has been signed, a Chinese company organizing the Chengdu Environmental Protection Expo (CDEPE) for the organization of exhibitions in the green technologies and environmental protection sector, with a particular focus on Western China.
Therefore, that visit it is part of the broader strategy of the group to favor the Italian production chains most interested in developing relations with the People's Republic, also increasing its presence in a market "particularly significant for its fair products", explains IEG in a note.
In 2018, China also established a joint venture for two events on tourism business: the Shanghai World Travel Fair in May and the Travel Trade Market last September in Chengdu.
