BEIJING, Aug.27 (Xinhua) -- A total of 1,009 new small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) debuted on China’s National Equities Exchange and Quotation (NEEQ), known as the “new third board” since the beginning of this year, with cumulative issue value of 43.761 billion yuan, latest data showed.
Turnover on the board stood at about 1.43 billion yuan from August 20 to 24, down 5.21 percent from the previous week.
As of August 24, about 6,372 SMEs listed on the board have published their semi-annual reports, and their total R&D expenses increased 28.62 percent year on year to reach 15.89 billion yuan. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
