BEIJING, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese tech firm Xiaomi signed a cooperative agreement with Shanghai Lingang Songjiang Hi-Tech City on August 13 on building a 100,000 square meter Xiaomi ecological chain industrial park in the high-tech city.
The industrial park will be jointly established by Xiaomi, the government of Shanghai’s Songjiang District and Shanghai Lingang Group.
The headquarters of Xiaomi ecological chain in eastern China and Xiaomi (Shanghai) Industrial Design Institute will be settled in G60 Science & Technology Innovation Valley in the high-tech city.
According to the agreement, the three parties will work together to build the headquarters of Xiaomi ecological chain in eastern China as a carrier for cultivating enterprises and attract about 50 to 100 companies on the Xiaomi ecological chain to settle in the park.
