BEIJING, July 11 (Xinhua) -- The Dalian area of China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone lately has been approved to join in the World Free Zones Organization(WFZO).
Established in 2014, the WFZO is a non-profit organization, which is headquartered in Dubai, capital of the United Arab Emirates. It has more than 250 member units, mainly providing services to the global free trade zones, promoting dialogue and exchanges among member units, and promoting the investment cooperation among the free trade zone enterprises.
The organization approved the joining of the Dalian area, which will advance the construction of FTZ in Dalian and provide guidance on the management model and operation practice in the future construction of the Dalian Free Trade Port, and deepen cooperation with member units such as Dubai Airport Free Zone in core business areas, including shipping logistics, cross-border e-commerce, international procurement, and international distribution.
