BEIJING, July 5 (Xinhua) -- The 24th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair kicked off in Lanzhou, capital of northwest China’s Gansu Province, on Thursday.
At present, 34 countries, regions and international organizations as well as representatives have applied for the fair, with Singapore and the Republic of Korea serving as the host countries.
166 projects, covering channel logistics, port construction, processing and manufacturing, traditional Chinese medicine, cultural tourism, infrastructure, etc. and boasting a total investment volume of 283.48 billion yuan, will be promoted as the key ones to attract investment in Gansu Province.
The fair has highlighted the concept of green development and deep integration of specialty industries, the Belt and Road Initiative, the function of trade negotiation and investment as well as the industries, enterprises and products. (Edited by Zhang Yuan, zhangyuan11@xinhua.org)
