China Price・Beijing Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index

The agricultural product wholesale market is the most important link between producers and consumers in the agricultural industry chain. In order to further study the price change, trend and rule in this circulation link, Beijing Price Monitoring Center compiled the "China Price・Beijing's Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index". The index is divided into the general index of Beijing's agricultural product wholesale price, wholesale price index for 7 categories (including food, edible oil, meat, poultry, eggs, vegetables, fruits and aquatic products), wholesale price index for 21 basic categories, and wholesale price index of 81 specified categories. The index report is formulated weekly, monthly and quarterly. Among the 16 districts in Beijing, the index selects 7 large agricultural wholesale markets, with top agricultural products sales volume and transaction volume, as the monitoring points. Their turnover accounts for more than 80% of the city's total. The index is representative and evenly distributed, endowing Beijing's Agricultural Wholesale Product Price Index with authoritativeness.
