Listed companies and issuing houses that fail to appoint auditors due to the postponment of the annual general meeting amid the COVID-19 outbreak are allowed to appoint auditors approved by the SEC to review their financial reports for the first quarter of 2020.

Chomkwan Kongsakul, an official of the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission noted in an article that SEC should work with other departments to analyze the problems and obstacles facing SMEs and come up with proper measures to realize a balance between financiers and investors.
