InfoQuest (March 26, 2020) -- Ms. Ruenvadee Suwanmongkol, secretary-general of Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), chaired the Capital Market Supervisory Board meeting on 25 March 2020. According to the conference resolution, for listed companies and issuing houses that fail to appoint auditors due to the postponment of the annual general meeting amid the COVID-19 outbreak, they are allowed to appoint auditors approved by the SEC to review their financial reports for the first quarter of 2020.
Later, listed companies must propose the appointment of auditors at the stockholders' meeting and formally appoint them at the next meeting.
