PARIS, June 12 (Xinhua) -- 2018 Eurosatory, the international reference for land and airland Defence and Security exhibitions was held from June 11 to 15 in Paris. Altogether 56 Chinese enterprises, including large state-owned enterprises and private enterprises which mainly produce military supplies from Jiangsu, Hubei, Zhejiang, and Hebei provinces participated in the exhibition.
The exhibition area displays a wide range of advanced military products, including new types of tanks, helicopters, armored vehicles, air defense missiles, radar and other large-scale equipment, as well as small and medium-sized products such as drones, communications equipment, anti-biochemical and radiation equipment, etc. Artificial intelligence (AI) and military products on cyber security have become a new focus of attention.
The Eurosatory is one of the most important professional exhibitions in the field of defense, which takes place every two years. More than 1,700 companies from over 60 countries and regions in the world participated in this year. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
