China imported 435.9 tons of vermouth from January to March 2018, an increase of 70.1 percent year on year. The imports amounted to 1.2 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 89.6 percent year on year. The average price was 2,853.1 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 11.4 percent year on year.
In March alone, China imported 213.1 tons of vermouth, an increase of 460.4 percent month on month. The imports amounted to 537,076 U.S. dollars, an increase of 540.8 percent month on month. The average price was 2,519.8 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 14.4 percent month on month. Compared with March 2017, there was an increase of 64.2 percent in quantity, an increase of 99.6 percent in value, and an increase of 21.6 percent in average price.
In terms of import origin by continents, Asia exported 6.2 tons of vermouth from January to March 2018, a decrease of 3.5 percent year on year, or 26,176 U.S. dollars, a decrease of 20.8 percent year on year, at an average price of 4,190.2 U.S. dollars per ton, a decrease of 18.0 percent year on year; Europe exported 366.3 tons, an increase of 119.0 percent year on year, or 1.0 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 145.5 percent year on year, at an average price of 2,832.8 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 12.1 percent year on year; South America exported 52 kilograms, a decrease of 99.6 percent year on year, or 372 U.S. dollars, a decrease of 99.4 percent year on year, at an average price of 7,153.8 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 40.7 percent year on year; North America exported 51.0 tons, an increase of 164.3 percent year on year, or 145,751 U.S. dollars, an increase of 88.5 percent year on year, at an average price of 2,856.5 U.S. dollars per ton, a decrease of 28.7 percent year on year; Oceania exported 12.3 tons, or 33,765 U.S. dollars, at an average price of 2,752.5 U.S. dollars per ton.
In March alone, Asia exported 1 kilograms of vermouth, a decrease of 99.8 percent year on year, or 3 U.S. dollars, a decrease of 99.8 percent year on year, at an average price of 3,000.0 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 0.7 percent year on year; Europe exported 195.8 tons, an increase of 184.9 percent year on year, or 488,892 U.S. dollars, an increase of 211.9 percent year on year, at an average price of 2,497.0 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 9.5 percent year on year; South America exported 52 kilograms, a decrease of 99.4 percent year on year, or 372 U.S. dollars, a decrease of 99.2 percent year on year, at an average price of 7,153.8 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 40.8 percent year on year; North America exported 5.3 tons, an increase of 14,500.0 percent year on year, or 14,758 U.S. dollars, an increase of 1,038.7 percent year on year, at an average price of 2,807.8 U.S. dollars per ton, a decrease of 92.2 percent year on year; Oceania exported 12.0 tons, or 33,051 U.S. dollars, at an average price of 2,744.6 U.S. dollars per ton.
Among all the countries and regions that exported vermouth to China from January to March 2018, in terms of value, Italy ranked first with 431,887 U.S. dollars, an increase of 237.0 percent year on year; Germany ranked second with 342,561 U.S. dollars, an increase of 3,518.9 percent year on year; France ranked third with 169,307 U.S. dollars, a decrease of 28.5 percent year on year.
In March alone, Italy ranked first with 193,172 U.S. dollars, an increase of 19,531.3 percent year on year; France ranked second with 159,861 U.S. dollars, an increase of 24.6 percent year on year; Germany ranked third with 106,547 U.S. dollars, an increase of 1,870.2 percent year on year.
