BEIJING, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Xi’an, capital city of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on May 8 saw the launch of Belt and Road international medical center program with the main building of the Xi’an International Medical Center completed, according to the report by Xi’an Daily.
Co-developed by Xi'an International Medical Investment Company Limited, Ali Health, Yonyouhit, Xidian University and Panasia Group, the Belt and Road international medical center project adopts the “two-group and two-drive” model of building an International Medical City and a Silk Road healthy town. Its international medical city team has a total investment of 15 billion yuan, planning 15,000 beds, and 1.5 million square meters of medical housing.
As a core project for the Belt and Road international medical center program, the Xi'an International Medical Center is located in Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone, with a building area of approximately 520,000 square meters. After completion, it is a third-grade class-A international hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, physical examination, and health care.
