BEIJING, May 9 (Xinhua) -- The Export-Import Bank of China (China EximBank) Tuesday signed a loan agreement with Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance to provide funding for the third phase of Bandung highway project.
Previously, China EximBank had provided loans for the first and the second phases of the highway project.
The highway project, which connects Bandung city and the international airport in West Java province at a lenght of 60 kilometers, is a priority project of Indonesia’s economic development.
Upon completion, the highway is expected to improve transport network of West Java and facilitate goods and passenger transport along the route.
