BEIJING, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) --The China Free Trade Zone Infoport, a center for global free trade zone (FTZ) information collection, processing, transaction and release, will be built into an information highland for global FTZs.
The remark was made by Shen Haixiong, head of the Guangdong Provincial Publicity Department, during his visit to the infoport on Jan 23.
The infoport was launched in September last year in Hengqin district of Zhuhai and aims to be the hub for global FTZ data resources integration and data sharing as well as the venue of international FTZ forums. It was set up by Southern Finance Omnimedia Corporation, Zhuhai Dahengqin Technologies and the Shenzhen Press Group.
Shen spoke highly of the progress that the infoport has made during his visit. He expects it to lure more famous domestic and overseas information and data services companies and build itself into a hub for data sharing and information transactions.
