Caterpillar and China Energy Investment sign strategic deal -- Caterpillar Inc, the US-based conglomerate, and China Energy Investment Corp signed a five-year strategic cooperative framework agreement in Beijing on Nov. 8. It outlines future collaboration for mining equipment sales and rentals, technology applications and product support provided by Caterpillar and its local dealers, the US firm said.

VizEat, which was founded in France in 2014, is a social dining platform. Chinese carmaker to promote green transport in Philippines -- China's leading new-energy carmaker BYD said November 8 that it planned to introduce a series of electric buses and trucks to the Philippines. The Shenzhen-based company and Philippine Columbian Motors Corporation (CMC) have reached a cooperation agreement on green transport. BYD will initially produce 10 electric buses and 14 electric trucks by next February. The CMC will be in charge of sales in the Philippines.

China, Australia sign agreement to share fintech information -- Chinese and Australian securities regulators have signed an agreement on sharing fintech information, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) said on November 6.
The agreement was signed by Liu Shiyu, head of the CSRC, and Greg Medcraft, chairman of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the CSRC said in a statement.
The two sides will share information on developments in the fintech field and relevant regulatory policies, said the CSRC.
