HEFEI, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Twenty-six German high-tech projects in areas such as remotely operated vehicle (ROV), bridge vibration power generation, intestinal temporary blocking material and novel anti-tumor vaccine were brought in by German-Chinese Alliance for Industry 4.0 last weekend to east China's Anhui province.
The projects made debut in the Xinglu science and technology industrial park in Hefei city's Luyang district for road shows and capital docking.
The event also saw the unveiling of the Luyang district cross-border incubator, the first of its kind in Anhui that would act as the incubating base mainly for cooperation with relevant institutions from Germany, Canada, and the United States, according to Huang Weidong, head of the Luyang district government.
In recent years, Industry 4.0 is discussed intensely in both China and Germany, as both countries aim to become world powers in digital and intelligent manufacturing, said Zhou Xiangqian, chairman of the German-Chinese Alliance for Industry 4.0.
With its fine talent resources and huge market potential, Anhui province would see the coming of more high-tech projects from Germany in the future, Zhou said. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
