BEIJING, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Hilong Holding announced on March 13 that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Shanghai Hilong Drill Pipe (Hilong Drill Pipe) had recently won an exclusive supply contract from Eriell Group for the supply of drill pipes to a project jointly held by Uzbekistan’s state oil and gas company and Eriell Group.
The project is in relation to a joint development of an oil field in Uzbekistan, which involves the provision of drilling devices and services by the Eriell Group, according to a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Hilong Drill Pipe will supply a total of 7,500 tonnes of drill pipes to Uzbekistan in 2017 for the project, according to the contract.
The contract in Uzbekistan marks a breakthrough of Hilong’s overseas business and such a deal has further paved the road for the group to enter into boarder international markets, it said.
Eriell Group is an international drilling services provider providing drilling services in Russia, Central and Southern Asia, and Middle East. Enditem (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
