NANNING, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- China-ASEAN Business Matching Meeting on Tourism Cooperation is scheduled to be held on September 13 in Nanning, capital city of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The meeting is aimed at providing a face-to-face communication platform for tourism promotion institutions, tourism associations and companies, airlines and hotels between China and the ASEAN countries, and contributing to pragmatic cooperation between the two parties.

This year is the China-ASEAN Year of Tourism Cooperation. The 14th China-ASEAN Expo, which will be convened on September 12 through 15, has been given a theme of “Co-building the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, Promoting Regional Economic Integration through Tourism”.

As one of events under the name of the 14th China-ASEAN Expo, the business matching meeting on tourism cooperation is jointly sponsored by the China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat and China Economic Information Service (CEIS), supported by Guangxi Tourism Development Committee and related institutions of ASEAN countries.

CEIS, a wholly-owned company of the Xinhua News Agency and a leading economic information service provider in China, provides technology and content support for the meeting through its flagship unit of Xinhua Silk Road.

CEIS will also roll out China-ASEAN Tourism Cooperation and Development Report (2017) at the meeting.
