BEIJING, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- China's State Oceanic Administration (SOA) has initiated the work of drafting the 13th five-year plan (2016-2020) for oceanic standardization and metrology and the plan will be released next year, according to a report by China Ocean News on Thursdayquoting information from the SOA's seminar.
The 13th five-year plan for oceanic standardization is to put forward to basically establishing a modern oceanic standard system by the year of 2020, according to the report.
In addition, China is to set up an oceanic value transfer and traceability system and improve its metrology detection system by the year of 2020, said the report. (Edited by Hou Yujie, houyj@xinhua.org)
