BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) -- State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Supply Company is building a "four lines and three rings" high-reliability power supply backbone network in Moganshan scenic area, a well-known summer resort in east China's Zhejiang Province, in an effort to enhance power grid resilience.
Upon completion, the power supply capacity in the scenic area will be increased by four times, said an official with the company.
As part of the grid resilience project, the grid company is now constructing a double-circuit line in the scenic area, which were equipped with advanced technologies such as optical fiber differential protection and digital twins to enable precise fault location and self-healing in milliseconds.
In addition, the company has established a demonstration area of flexible distribution networks to create a "power highway" between the Moganshan scenic area and the North District of Huzhou Moganshan High-tech Zone, enabling cross-regional mutual electricity transimission.
