June 04, 2026

Chinese liquor maker Kweichow Moutai is collecting literary and artistic works worldwide to tell new stories about shared feelings of people from varied cultures at different moments in life.

The activity named "Moutai and I" global works collection, which is jointly initiated by Kweichow Moutai and China Economic Information Service (CEIS), is open to people from all countries and the overseas Chinese as well.

Designed to record unforgettable, meaningful moments or memories shared between people and the premium Chinese liquor brand, works in diverse forms are being pooled until June 30, 2026.

Originating from Maotai Town of Guizhou in southwest China, Moutai liquor remains one of the three reputed distilled spirits across the globe and its fascinating aroma, mellow flavor and complex brewing technique help it win fame from global tasters.

Brewed only with local sorghum and water from Chishui River, Moutai liquor, whose brewing process requires 30 steps, 165 sub-steps and at least a 5-year aging period before entering market, is always depicted as a "drinkable antique".

Now, the Chinese liquor producer and CEIS are inviting you to share your "Moutai stories".

Any works that relate to Moutai are welcome and please enter the submission page (https://ping.xhszjs.com/ps/axtnwU9Z) to submit your work.
