BEIJING, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong in Beijing on Thursday, respectively.
Fico and Gan are in China for commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

When meeting with Fico, Han said China stands ready to work with Slovakia to enhance exchanges of governance experience and further expand and deepen practical cooperation under the strategic guidance of the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries.
Fico said Slovakia remains firmly committed to deepening the strategic partnership with China, supports the Global Governance Initiative (GGI), and looks forward to strengthening inter-party exchanges with China.

During his meeting with Gan, Han expressed China's willingness to work with Singapore to fully implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and promote further development of bilateral relations.
Gan spoke positively of the GGI and noted that China's economic outlook remains sound in the long run with enormous potential. He also expressed confidence in the broad prospects of Singapore-China cooperation and looked forward to deepening and expanding practical cooperation while enhancing friendly exchanges between the two countries.
