BEIJING, May 16 (Xinhua) -- State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. is innovating electric vehicle charging services in rural area in east China’s Zhejiang Province in an effort to promote rural vitalization.
In Fubei village of Ningbo, a coastal city in Zhejiang, the local grid company is mobilizing stakeholders to give finance, technology, and subsidy supports to build an EV charging station which installs solar power system and smart energy saving system, and could also provide catering services.
At present, the grid company has built a total of 33 EV charging stations in rural Ningbo, which have also boosted the sales of local agricultural products and the development of rural tourism. (Eidted by Jiang Yujuan, jiangyj@xinhua.org)
