BEIJING, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- With a recent shipment of 57,000 cubic meters of general cargo, the Dongjiakou Branch of Qingdao Port International Co., Ltd. in east China's Shandong Province officially launched a new shipping route to East Africa, reported Shanghai Securities News Tuesday.
At present, Qingdao Port has developed a cargo supply system mainly consisting of plywood, steel, engineering vehicles and others, with its shipping routes reaching regions including East Asia, the Russian Far East, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, East and West Africa, North America, South America and so on.
In the future, Qingdao Port will continue to follow market trend and promote market expansion, in a bid to enhance service quality and operational efficiency, optimizing logistics channels for import and export of goods.
