BEIJING, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Investors rushed recently into A-share market through active investment in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) investing mainly in A-shares, reported Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News.
Statistics with Choice, a financial data provider, showed that stock ETFs obtained 16.159 billion yuan of net subscriptions from May 29 to June 7 and many broadly-based stock ETFs gained additional subscription from investors.
In the future, there will be more new funds, in particular the equity funds, to be established to bet on the emerging opportunities on A-share market, said market watchers.
By June 10, 76 new funds were still being issued and 22 ones were about to be issued in China, including 19 equity funds, according to data released by Choice.
