The grid operator in east China's Jiangsu Province recently released a 10-pronged campaign to better serve local residents via pragmatic power services.
The "doing practical things for people"-themed campaign, unveiled by State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., Ltd. on May 15, aims to resolve trivial power-related problems of locals through systemic measures covering 10 aspects.
Wu Qiang, head of the power development department of State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., Ltd., said during the press conference that the campaign involves detailed, concrete solutions to address practical issues on 10 aspects.
Generally, it includes measures to further enhance the power use safety of local residents and facilitate green travel, grid connection of new energy power sources, rural vitalization, and green transformation.
For instance, a special action will be launched to equip high-rise residential buildings in the province with a dual-power source or an emergency power source to ensure rapid power supply recovery in case of power outages.
Under the campaign, a "6+X" service regime for green transformation facilitation that contains six aspects of basic services including policy integration, transaction guidance, electricity bill analysis, etc. is due to be established.
The service regime is expected to help promote Jiangsu's green development together with the standardized, smart and brand-based running of green electricity and green certificates trading service stations.
To enlarge new energy power supply, different grid-connection services will be provided for centralized and distributed photovoltaic projects, and related procedures will be optimized to guarantee their smooth grid-connection.
Moreover, the campaign aims to further enhance the "sense of gain" for local residents by resolving their difficulties in accessing power supply during travel.
For example, charging facilities in remote rural areas will be increased and charging pile networks alongside local expressways will be further enriched to ensure easy access for local travelers and farmers.
For interim power use in rural areas such as night fairs, exemption of power supply facility installation reporting is to be rolled out to guarantee highly efficient power supply and better serve rural people.
For corporate clients, the campaign aims to improve their power consumption transparency by supplying smart power-use analysis, on-site carbon emission intensity diagnosis and mechanisms for user identification and classification.
Via these heartwarming services, the company is poised to turn its "warm current"-featuring power services into an enduring corporate service hallmark.
