BEIJING, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai Valve Factory Co., Ltd (SVF) signed an agreement with the Yangtze River Delta (Huzhou) Industrial Cooperation Zone on a high-end smart fluid control equipment manufacturing project on Saturday.

With a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan (about 174.1 million U.S. dollars), the project's annual manufacturing capacity is expected to reach up to 500,000 units.
The project was the first key project launched in the industrial cooperation zone, which was inaugurated in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Jan 4.
SVF, a time-honored industrial brand, has been recognized as the first batch of "little giants", the novel elites of small and medium-sized enterprises that are engaged in manufacturing, specialize in niche markets and boast cutting-edge technologies.
Its products are widely used in power plants, petrochemical plants, long-distance pipelines, ships, metallurgy industry, pharmaceutical industry and defense related industry.
