CHANGSHA, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- A flight carrying 404 kg live lobsters from Nairobi landed at the Changsha Huanghua International Airport on Thursday, marking the first batch of such imports from Kenya to central China's Hunan Province this year.
After a quarantine at Changsha Customs, the fresh goods will soon enter the Chinese market.
According to the Chinese importer of the goods, Kenyan lobsters are cheaper than Australian lobsters. It plans to expand its imports to meet the needs of Chinese consumers.
The customs has opened a priority channel for rapid customs clearance of fresh goods imports.
