BEIJING, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- A report released recently by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) shows that foreign-funded enterprises continue to be optimistic about the Chinese market and generally speak well of China's business environment and macroeconomic policies, reported People's Daily Overseas Edition.
According to the report, nearly 90-percent foreign-funded firms surveyed were "relatively satisfied" with obtaining business premises, market access and tax payments, and nearly 90-percent foreign-funded firms surveyed were highly satisfied with the policies to stabilize industrial chains and supply chains, the implementation of the industry catalog that encourages foreign investment, the positive fiscal policies and the tax and fee reduction policies.
Besides, foreign-funded enterprises' satisfaction with market access, promotion of market competition, access to business premises and access to financial services respectively increased by 1.99 percentage points, 1.84 percentage points, 1.52 percentage points and 1.43 percentage points from the second quarter.
"The report shows that China has become the driving force and engine for the global business development of many foreign-funded companies, and the vast majority of foreign-funded companies are optimistic about the long-term development prospects in China," said CCPIT spokesperson Sun Xiao at a press conference held recently.
"We can see from foreign-funded companies' investment amount, structure in China and participation in China's economic construction that China's business environment has strong appeal," Sun added.
It is learned that at present, these companies' policy suggestions on China's business environment construction mainly include improving regular epidemic prevention and control, making policy formulation more scientific and complete, and building an efficient and service-oriented government.
