BEIJING, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Pingxiang City in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a city bordering Vietnam, launched a cross-border industrial service cloud platform project between China and ASEAN countries on Thursday, aiming to provide more convenience for bilateral trade, Chinanews.com reported on Thursday.
The project is expected to rely on Pingxiang's advantageous location and join hands with the local comprehensive bonded zone to build a cross-border e-commerce live-stream center, a supply chain finance center and an industrial big data center.
Zhao Shiwen, vice mayor of Pingxiang City, expressed high hopes for the project, saying that Pingxiang will give priority to introducing more favorable policies and optimizing the business environment to promote the vigorous development of local cross-border industries.
