BEIJING, June 10 (Xinhua) -- "Zhouliang" 220-kilovolt traction substation external electricity supply project along the Beijing-Binhai intercity railway has been completed on June 3.
The project, constructed by State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company, has a total length of nearly 36 kilometers, and 101 steel towers have been built to ensure a stable electricity supply for the railway.
Beijing-Binhai intercity railway as a key project under Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei transportation integration is 97.8 kilometers long and has a maximum design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
