InfoQuest (March 15, 2022) - Mr. Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana, Thailand's government spokesperson announced that Prime Minister and Defense Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will chair the highest-level meeting of Thailand's Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA). During the meeting, the Ministry of Public Health and relevant agencies will propose adjusting the pandemic prevention and control measures to the current situation.
The Ministry of Public Health has drawn up a plan for advancing the transition of COVID-19 from pandemic to endemic approach, which is composed of four stages.
Due to the changing pandemic situation, the government will turn its attention to vaccination, to effectively reduce mortality and severe disease rates.
