BEIJING, Feb. 18 (Xinhua) -- East China's Zhejiang Province has launched 195 major projects in cultural and tourism sector in its capital city Hangzhou on Wednesday with a total investment of 179.2 billion yuan and 35.7 billion yuan planned for this year, reported Zhejiang Daily.
The projects launched focus on island parks, cultural tourism development in mountainous counties, rural revitalization and other key areas, with large total investment, high output efficiency and outstanding core competitiveness, which are expected to become the prize examples of the province's investment and construction on cultural tourism projects in the future.
In 2021, the province had a total of 2,857 cultural and tourism projects under construction with the actual investment reaching 276.97 billion yuan and the completion rate of 137 percent of the target at the beginning of the year, according to the relevant person in charge of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
In the future, Zhejiang Province will continue to make efforts to build a national cultural highland, one of China's best tourist destinations and the national culture and tourism integration development model, to promote the high-quality development of cultural and tourism industry.
During the projects launching ceremony, the version 2.0 of the investment and financing integrated service platform of Zhejiang cultural and tourism industry was officially launched, aiming to improve the level of financing services for small and medium-sized enterprises and realize resource sharing between financial institutions and cultural tourism enterprises.
