MILAN, Jan. 12 (Class Editori) — AssoNEXT (Italian Association of Listed SMEs) became a member of EuropeanIssuers, a pan-European organisation representing the interests of publicly quoted companies across Europe to the EU institutions. Members include both national associations and companies from all sectors in 15 European countries, covering markets worth 7,600 billion euros market capitalization with approximately 8,000 companies.
EuropeanIssuers Chairman Luc Vansteenkiste said, "We are very pleased to welcome AssoNEXT as a new member of EuropeanIssuers. AssoNEXT's membership is very valuable and prompt: having this association as a member will strengthen our efforts to create a better regulatory environment for SMEs in order to facilitate their growth through the European capital markets".
