InfoQuest (December 3, 2021) - Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Thailand attended and chaired DG Awards 2021, and expressed the hope to build Thailand into an ASEAN Hub Digital and data connection hub.
He pointed out, over the past two years since the onset of COVID-19, with the joint efforts of all sectors, Thailand's digital government service has been significantly improved, with transformation in such aspects as digital office, online communication and online payment realized.
He added, "Thailand's government budget is not immune from the COVID, which is a challenge both for Thailand and the rest of the world."
Prayut Chan-o-cha stressed that Thailand is also faced with the extreme disparity between the rich and the poor, which is accompanied by multilateral trade and free trade. The government will do its utmost to improve people's livelihood and bridge the gap.
His visit to Udon Thani on December 2 was to understand the life of the people.
