BEIJING, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) – China's GDP is expected to grow around 5.1 percent year on year in 2022, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities Journal quoted Dong Qi, chief analyst of Guotai Junan Securities as saying on Tuesday.
According to Dong, China's economy is projected to show a W-shaped growth trend next year with an estimated 5.1-percent year on year GDP expansion.
Dong believed that China's economy is currently in the early stage of the construction of "dual circulation" development pattern and there is no need to be over pessimistic about future economic growth.
Looking ahead, China's economy will once again present a cyclical upward force, Dong noted.
Data showed that in the third quarter of this year, China's GDP grew 4.9 percent year on year, slower than its growth of 18.3 percent in the first quarter and 7.9 percent in the second quarter.
