BEIJING, July 8 (Xinhua) -- China issued on Wednesday a plan to further push forward the dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported.
According to the report, the plan aims to dig deeper into the essence of of TCM culture and let TCM further integrate into people's lives.
According to the plan, more efforts would be made to build a batch of TCM experience centers, widely carry out a series of TCM culture activities among the public, set up a group of TCM cultural knowledge corners and make full use of new technologies and applications to develop TCM culture products.
Besides, the plan also proposed that in the future, the country will cultivate backbone teachers in primary and middle schools to integrate the TCM culture into education.
The plan was jointly issued by five Chinese authorities, including the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Education, the National Health Commission and the National Radio and Television Administration.
