Similarly, the sales surge also occurred at Xpeng Motors, whose total sales surged 285 percent year on year to 5,100 vehicles, bringing its total sales to 19,000 units during the January to April period.
Thanks to China's consumption promotion policy, the domestic auto market has maintained a fast growth trend in sales since the year begins. Previous forecast from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) showed that the auto industry's sales in April are expected to reach about 2.17 million units, up about five percent year on year.
Analysis revealed that China's innovative NEV production technology and strong market demand will continue to promote the sales of NEVs to maintain a high growth in the future.
